Because I do this and a couple people are in MI
The Lansing March Of Dimes has a walk every year. My wife's MoD site (http://www.marchforbabies.org/mstauri)
The Picture on the site is of LAst years group (yes we are all in ren-garb, it helps us stand out) we go and support my wife. The walk is 5.2 mile because the coordinators are Metric impaired and do not know that 5K |= 5miles. My wife has Cerebral Palsy and this walk takes alot of effort for her as she walks the entire thing. Her CP affects her movement she walks like a drunk, and As I have said more then a couple times she wears out shoes because of it. The walk will kill 1 pair of shoes..
This is not a plea for donations....
I know more then a few are cash strapped. If anyone can Yeah!!! if not please wish for a nice sunny day in the 60f range, instead of the potential MI rain and cold. It did that one year and it sucked.
And well wishes can be relayed through me with either in a post or a PM
