its a story that starts off all teen angsty (which is apologised for) but you really see the style develop from a manga like style to a more mature and interesting style. I find one of the main joys of reading comics is watching the art style developed over time with a single book an illustrators may go back and redo the early stuff to give a even impression of their style but I, as a comic reader have always seen and enjoyed the development of an illustrator’s style as the comic progresses you see them really get comfy with the characters, so its kind of like watching evolution.

Its why I like to find an already established web comic so I can read it over days or weeks from the start and see how the story telling improves (the last one I did it with was Questionable Content. Man you really see Mr Jacques style EVOLVE)
