Forum upgrade

Apologies to those inconvenienced by the latest forum upgrade. On the plus side, it's put all sorts of extras on here for you to play with. Quite frankly, I haven't had chance to play with them yet, so feel free to post what you find!

mmm I like the new profiles. They're pretty. hehe, I especially like when someone hasn't made a friend yet, "<name> hasn't made any friends yet" It's kind of sad, but funny at the same time.

Only thing I'm not too fond of is when you hit the 'back' button after posting a response, it doesn't go back to the forum index (or thread list), but instead shows the page before you answered. I'm lazy.

Hey, there are all sorts of fun things to poke at on here, now. The profiles are the most fun, I've found, so far! Albums Kat! You can create Albums! *griiiins* I'm going to have fun with that, when I get home. On this computer, I just have the one of my pink hair.

Ok, so up until this point I hadn't made any use of the friends feature. After seeing this I didn't want to be the only one without friends, because it did make my profile look lonely.

We've noted a problem or two - the forum tool to make all threads as read doesn't work, nor does double-clicking the icon to the left of the forum.

I'm working on finding a solution.

One problem I have here...The 'quickpost' button to leave visitor comments on profiles doesn't work for me, have to use the 'advanced' button

I had intermittant success with it. Seems to work fairly consistantly now though.

The other features should be back to abnormal for now. We're tracking down the exact cause, but the module involved is identified etc.

i scared the stuffing out of my best friend doing that one morning. rolled over as she walked past my head and did this freaky FEEEEEEET!!!! squeal and patted her toes. she proceeded to juimp and almost kill herself against the desk to figure out what the hell was happening.

those were great times. i miss staying up until 6 am eating leftover takeout and reading sailor moon fanfiction aloud while trying out crazy accents. she still giggles when i affect my "bad attempt at asian" accent.

ok. who has the time machine. i wanna be 16 for a little while.

Any chance of getting the time limit on forum searches dropped down to 10-15 sec? either that, or get people to post more, I keep trying to check for new posts before the full 20 sec is up ;)
