Yah, but we have Cowboys too - I grew up with lumberjacks, but now am in Cowtown. And good morals? You haven't met enough lumberjacks, or been to Stampede. Some of the Stampede parties here were offering a complimentary wedding-ring check service, AND airbrushing your ring tanlines. :dp:

Actually... I was thinking we don't have any decent cons up here. Hmm... excessive drinking, casual sex, skimpy dress, quasi-bloodsports, outlandish costumes... Stampede is like a weeklong, city wide CowboyCon.

Ah... slight misperception of morals here. Yah, same work hard, play hard mindset for sure. Same taste in vehicles too (jacked-up pickups with loud exhausts, slight edge to the lumberjacks as the farm boys need theirs to be low enough to load with hay most of the time).

Yah, it's changed, and even moreso in the past few decades. Quads on the ranch and chainsaws are one thing (still basically equivalent to gas-powered horses and axes), but it's all feedlots and feller-bunchers now. :P
