The only drawback to playing those "OMG WOW" looking racials...makeup application time. :)
I have an alt character at LAIRE I was going to play last month, a Kalentani (catfolk,basically). Seeing how long it'd take to get my face, arms, and legs properly done got me visiting the local costume shope for tights and a few extra-large costume sponges...since it's "visible skin has to be "furry" patterned with makeup or fake fur" and a summer costume, I was looking at a loooong time with the dinky ones I used for my face. :P
