mic's.... are kinda needed. as for recording equipment you stream live. basically using winamp you just play music and pop in every few seconds and say this or that. helps if you have a messenger and lurk in the chat room too lol you gotta know when somethings requested

lol its ALOT of fun. i'd do it but crappy comp gets in my way. the best thing to do when on air is to pretend you're just talking to yourself and practicing. it really doesn't matter if you botch up. hell sometimes correcting your mistake makes it more fun. i spent over 10 minutes just trying to correct my pronunciation of a word, then comparing that to other hard to say words then trying to remember how to spell "antidisestablishmentarianism" before going OH! CRAP! and playing a song. apparently i'd cracked up enough people though and thats whats important.
the only big booboo that'll get you in any real trouble is if your booboo somehow kills the stream. i don't just mean knocking yourself off the server but you've actually killed that server. its been done by curious persons that ignored the warning that only admin ever have need to follow that link, since all dj's have to use the same pass.

as far as i know just lots of music, and personality, and a want to actually keep the schedule you ask for. admitedly most all of our listeners do come in looking for Psychopathic music but i don't think its necessarily a requirement. we play anything and everything. our biggest deal is anything "underground" or currently unknown. which in your case may work out fairly well! you got all the nifty European stuff we never get to hear till they gets uber cash and end up letting their music get a little... crappy when it reaches us.

i'm still personally in love with what little Eva Abraham i got from my buddy Iain. girls got a VOICE.
