*sigh*

Do I have to go into the whole '616' shpeal? Nah, why get serious.

Also of note is 37, the Infernal Prime. Because 37(6+6+6)=666

Just to show you how evil Michigan is, it contains both Hell AND the 616 area code. It has Yoopers, too, but Yoopers scare Satan.

Hell has decent pizza and hot coffee.

And I miss the 616 area code. It used to be almost all the western half of the lower peninsula. But back in the 90s they split the northern part into the 231 area code.

665 comes before 666, older brothers come before younger brothers
666 is approximately 660 much like 543 is approximately 540 or 34 is approximtly 30

Actualy... 666 is aproximetly 670.
anything above 5 when aproximated goes over, so 16 turns to 20, 49 turns to 50... but anything below or including 5 go down, so 43 turns to 40, 35 turns to 30...
Unless your using another aproximation system...

No 666 is rounded up to 670, approximately is different to rounding. You're confusing the two.

Then again I may be the one confused Im fairly average at maths Im sure one of our regular smarty math guys(Like maybe Big Otis) could explain this better.

Uhm, not to worry you guys, but my birthday really does = 6666.

I was born on the 66th day of the year in 1966. Discovered this little tidbit while reading an arcane journal that was handed down over the years ... okay, so it was a consumer business mathematics book, but it's still pretty arcane ... to me. ;)

Eh...had a patron last June freak out because we put the date they register on their card. She'd filled out the paperwork, but didn't have her proof of residence with her, so she was going to come back in a little while. Once she realized what day it was, she said "I'll come back tomorrow. You ain't puttin' that number on my card!"

When I worked at Kmart, I once had a customer come through my register whose total purchase amounted to $6.66(including tax). He looks at his wife and goes, "Well, guess we'd better add a pack of gum or something," laughs, pays(without adding anything extra), and leaves, still chuckling.

i've had purchases through me like that. including a $66.60 total for only 6 items. i pointed it out to the guy just laughing and he told me to write down the transaction number and play it in the lottery. i did write it down to amuse him, but didn't play it.

guess what 4 numbers popped up as winners that night?

i'm going to start playing what numbers devilish men tell me to play.

had this bad luck after being suggested to play 000. coulda won $13000 if i'd paid attention :|

ah well leffy.

i was thinking age for the 666/665 thing.
and when i see 666, i approximate 670. as 666 is 4 less then 670, but 6 more than 660, and one approximates closer, no?

Mike Taylor

$6.66/hour = minimum wage of the beast
