its been a while since i've read some of the older comics, but i vaguely remember jennie explaining the title for The Devil's Panties being related to a friend's band. i've introduced DP to some of the HR staff and i've been asked if we can maybe incorporate that band at the radio. Jennie still chill with the bandie's and maybe have some audible yummies to share?

Its not in the comic. Under the FAQ:

*I had a list of titles for the comic. I asked friends what I should name it. My friend DJ had a title she was doing to use for her band (she doesn’t play an instrument, but just in case she was ever in a band she had a name picked out). “The Devil’s Panties”. I wanted to call it “Realities victim” but everyone who heard “The Devil’s Panties” would stop and say “I don’t know what that is but I want to find out”. Only years later did I find out that it was taken from “Miss Congeniality”. “I wanted to get the red undies but my mother said that they were the Satans Panties!”*

I believe the only time she actualy adresses the name is when the devil tells her shes out of cerial or milk, or something...

And I believe Jennie did mention it very briefly in the comics once. I'll have to go look for it the next time I have too much time. :p
