Okay, here are the much promised but often delayed character stats.

Physical Description: Fair-skinned with red hair and green eyes. Close-cropped beard and mustache. Squared jaw. Athletic build. Dresses like a common spacer most of the time. His brown and battered leather jacket and boots are hold-overs from his days as a KDF Tracker.
Personality: Years of military and law enforcement service have toughened Resh into a capable fighter. His knowledge of police and military tactics made him invaluable to the Kintooine resistance forces. Kaska, like his many compatriots, seeks to liberate his homeworld and avenge comrades killed or imprisoned simply for the crime of being non-human. Most everything he does is considered in this light. Even in his lighter moments, such thoughts are not far from his mind.

Background: Kaska returned to his homeworld of Kintooine after a decade working as a licensed bounty hunter for the Empire, disgusted with the increasing tyranny and corruption he saw. He briefly signed back on with the Kintooine Defense Force (KDF) Trackers before being discharged by the pro-Imperial government that came to power on his own world. Kaska joined with an underground resistance movement which opposed the new governor after a string of deportations, imprisonments, and executions removed the various non-humans from the KDF, leaving what remained woefully understaffed and overworked.
After fighting a year-long guerilla war against the new government, Kaska was forced to flee his homeworld. With him came several loyal enlisted men, deserters from the KDF just as he was. Their objective was to link up with the Rebel Alliance in order to reorganize and rebuild the guerilla force on Kintooine. Along the way, Kaska and his crew would fight the Empire in their own small way, raiding supply ships bound for or departing from pro-Imperial planetary systems, selling what they didn't take for themselves.
NOTE: This version of Resh is a much dialed down version from the one I originally created back in 1987. He is designed for encounters with beginning player characters. You'll note that the Barloz is not listed as his starting gear in this case.
