Well, here I am.

Actually ... Here I aint... Currently 'm 35 miles away and just LOVIN it!!!! Crashed the night at a friend of a friend's house and am crackin the whip on the womenfolk to get em movin.

The registration doesn't start until 8 am, and the games don't start until 9. I simply can't WAIT!!!! That.. and downtown Atlanta is a MONSTER on a friday morning normally.. this is a HOLIDAY weekend.

Don't know how much I'll be able to post, don't even know if my wireless for the laptop works... but I'm tired, excited, and underfed... PERFECT FOR DRAGONCON

Taking a break from hauling in bags(and sweating way too much), so decided to test it out, and it seems to be working ok...

Just got back from the con floor. Met Jennie and gave her some much needed vittles. MAN it's crowded this year... Plus, there's massive construction at the Hilton. Everythong's blocked off and weird. Gotta go up and down to go out.. yeesh.

There was construction at the Hilton? I noticed the Mariott problems, but not anything major going on at the Hilton. Seem to have missed whatever meetup there was, unfortunately...even had the boyperson in tow, so it wasn't just 'cause I couldn't see over the crowd. Did see crazeyal about three times...once saturday night by the elevators in full devil getup, then sunday night as a very grumpy pirate on the way back to the hotel, and yesterday morning around 4:30-5ish, minus a horn. Technically, the first time I only spotted him 'cause the boyperson pointed him out first.

Bleh, got a speeding ticket on the way home...cop told me outright he'd set a trap specifically for me, and I'm pretty sure the fact that he'd originally been behind me and knew I was out-of-state had something to do with it as well. Nevermind all the other people out there who were going much faster, passing on the right, throwing trash, speeding in the "increased fine" construction zone, etc...let's go after the one from just far enough away that they're not going to come in and contest it. As my brother put it, "And people wonder why cops are so unpopular..."
