I'm sorry but who's brilliant idea was it to name a warship class after Iowa? When was the last time you were intimidated by someone from Iowa? Maybe the Bronx class, or some state, city or region with a documented history of badassedness.

And is this a temporary abode, or are you handing this one over to the captain...who makes about as good a captain as Jack Sparrow, who, while a good pirate makes a crappy captian. How many ships is this now? ;)

Y'know, if we dragged a generating turbine behind the ship and hooked up a little electrolysis rig, we could easily generate enough hydrogen to make an airship out of this puppy. A hideously dangerous airship considering this crew and the fact we're using black-powder weapons, but still...

The cannons were the main advantage of the turtle ships over the Japanese ships since cannons enabled the turtle ship to destroy an enemy ship at a distance. The turtle ship, like the standard Panokseon, could hold around 30 cannons. Usually, there were 11 gunports on each side and 2 gunports on the front and back. Several different versions of the turtle ship included about 24 to 36 cannons. A cannon could also be placed inside the turtle ship's mouth. Because of the gunports located all around the turtle ship, it could fire in any direction.

But to be honest, the amount of times I or any of the other Cat Girls fall in the water, it's a perfect name!
