Most know me for my ability to scribble cats (http://www.twolumps.net) or goths behaving poorly. (http://www.flemcomics.com)
I AM, HOWEVAR, MULTITALENTED!

Just something I scribbled. Pastel pencils, ink, Paintshop Pro.

Uh..
Jay may have been dressed in all black, did more drugs than Keith Richards on a friday morning, but methinks he belonged to the MANSON family more than the GOTH!!!

This has been argued before.
I still maintain that there are various flavors of Goth, and both the fictional Jay and the non-fictional I belong to the Psychogoth crowd.
YOU MAY BE A PSYCHOGOTH IF:
- You like to dance to Switchblade Symphony or Wumpscut, but if Slayer or Lamb of God starts playing, you'll gleefully smash through the nearest window and light something on fire.
- You dress in all black, but own absolutely NOTHING with frilly bits.
- You'd rather own a Harley than a Hearse.
- Although you hang out in Goth Clubs, you also jam out at Rockabilly venues.
- You've debated who the better singer is: Burton C. Bell or Andrew Eldritch.
- You've NEVER given a shit about how thin or fat you are, and would rather drink Shiner Bock than Absinthe.
- Although many goths maintain the pacifist stance that violence is never the answer, you believe it can be a really damned GOOD answer.
- You've beaten someone down in the street for saying your eyeliner made you look like a fag.
- You've made damned sure the spikes on your leather clothing are reinforced and functional in a bar brawl.
- You absolutely shun the concepts of "poise and grace" in favor of "having a goddamned good time."
The list goes on and on with me and my friends. (Amusingly, Mel is a very straightforward Classic Goth. Many people have puzzled over the enigma of why she married me, myself included, but I'm just glad she did.)

Yeah..
Had an exostential goth moment meself...
I've never claimed to be anything other than just.. me.. But I HAVE dated Goths..
I guess you can claim a Goth moment when your Ex comes into a friend's house, getting ready for a night's clubbing, and the guy she's with looks better in the stockings than SHE DOES!!!

I think V:tM LARPing gets you automatic honary membership. For some types of 'Goth' at least...

It gets you an honorary membership in geek circles, but I've never thought of it as a particularly "goth" exclusive pasttime.

All goths like rap.
It's a fact.
They love hip-hop. But they never admit it to ANYONE. I have never understood WHY.

Rapcore, punk meets rap? Or Nu Metal, rap meets metal? Or just angry rappers?

...Sure, it's happy. That is of course, if you think someone telling you nursery rhymes about how they want to stab your mother is happy.

If a goth says they hate rap, put on one of the following tracks:
- Down In It by NIN
- Victim of a Criminal by FLA
- Damned near anything by KMFDM before the NIHIL album
Then laugh at them.

If NIN means Nine Inch Nails, then I had no idea that they were a rap group. o___o

they're not classified as a rap group per se... but yes that song is ... yeah it crosses many lines.
and and and I GOT TO MEET ESHAM! and i just realized thats who i met when i was 9 years old the other day when i was pulling out my old tapes and shit. i have a tape i remember this guy handing my uncle and gabbing his head off about it. oold ass thing. doesn't play anymore though.
and kmfdm is a fucking trip on all the genres they piss all over. its one of those bands i love to hate. because i can't hate them. its just they get stuck in my head worse then "the song that doesn't end"
