Err...I'm supposing that's the official name for it, as that's what it's called on the website, but if I'm correct, it's SDCC.

Anyweh, what I was wondering if anybody'll be going to it this year. I'm currently living in Arizona, but if it's worth it I can get at least enough funds to get down there for a day or two, maybe more, but I've never been to a convention outside of Arizona(which has good conventions, grant you, but not as many people.)

Okay, in truth going would just be a little fanboy attempt to meet Jennie, but still! Tell me if it's worth it besides that. xD

Generally, Jennie will go to any con that pays her way, or is close enough to drive. That's not a barrometer to quality, but if they can AFFORD stuff like that... it's generally worth your time.

Ehh...Okay then. Well, if I can scrounge up enough money to go, I'm definitely going to. From where I live in Arizona, San Diego is only a 6-7 hour drive, so it should be fun, really. If I missed a chance like this when I had the funds and time, I'd really just have to kick myself in that especially painful area. :(

Wonder-Con (http://www.comic-con.org/wc/) is run by Comic Con International, but Only Comic-Con is in San Diego at the San Diego Convention Center (SDCC). Wonder-Con is in San Francisco at the Moscone (moss-CONE-ee) Center, February 22nd-24th (another 8 hours north from San Diego, drive-wise).

I'll be there. :dcool:

What's the confusion? Be glad to clear it up, if I can.

Oh, you can't of course. It's more of a self-consious indecision of whether I should go or not. I only wanted to go really because I thought Jennie might be there, but if thas not the one that it says she might be planning on going to, I dunno if I should try.

Oh! I see the problem. Jennie's "Conventions" page has linked to the main index.php (<-notiece that this is a dynamic page) for Comic-Con International (or CCI). Comic-Con is the convention that she goes to each Summer in San Diego. But right now, the main index page is advertising Wonder-Con (http://www.comic-con.org/wc) (one of the 3 comic conventions that CCI administers) because it is the NEXT Con to open (in February).

To avoid confusion, Tak might want to link the Jennie Con page to the Comic-Con main page which is a little different. Instead of http://www.comic-con.org/index.php, it should be http://comic-con.org/cci.

Cheers! :d/:
