That's Hexic, which is addicting in its own way.

Geometry Wars looks like the lovechild of two classic eighties games: Tempest and Robotron. It has the look of Tempest and the game play of Robotron along with a trippy techno soundtrack. You play this little geometric-looking spaceship that moves around on a grid and can fire on any direction.
