Oooooo, fun new game! Room full people who are all blindfolded, trying to identify each other by scent!!! Um, bathing prior to game time is NOT optional.

Precisely the reason why Jennie should not have made this comic. Hehehe! :p
Unless she very wisely pulled a switch-er-roo, and gave a false brand name and Will wears something else.
Seriously, Jennie, you just gave the stalkers ammunition. :dgrin:

Is it just me or does she look like an attacking vampire there?
I reckon I could identify a few people by scent, but not by what they wear ... and I mean the scent just behind the ear, so it'd be kind of late to be deciding whether or not to hug them.

Yes, but if she sniffs them out and pounces them first, who's stalking who? :jbsmirk:

We've gotta get Jennie some more time with Will. If she's attacking guys who smell like Right Guard, that's just sad. Cute in a romantic way, but sad nonetheless. :p
I remember reading years ago about a study on what each sexes most attractive fragrances were. Men loved the smell of pumpkin pie and women loved the smell of licorice.
Is this a valid statement? Do you ladies go hogwild for the smell of good licorice and do the other guys on the forum get a mad-on for pumpkin pie? Just curious.
Personally, I do love the smell of pumpkin pie as I'm fond of all the scents involved (pumpkin, ginger, cinnamon, clove, et al) but my sense of smell is usually hyperactive anyway so my results may be suspect.

My wifes hyper horny smell is Classic powdered Tide....Licorice just makes her nauscious
I don't have one... though that could be because of alergies that tend to make it so I can't smeel stuff...

I love black licorice. In fact, the perfume I wear has an Anise base (Lolita Lempicka). Is that what's in Drakkar Noir? Because that stuff makes me go absolutely apeshit. Lust in a bottle.
But I love pumpkin pie, too.

if it's candy perfume we're going for, I'd say butterscotch. But if we're talking lust then it's more of a musk that turns me on for the guys. I love the taste of slightly salty skin.

Will remember Drakkar Noir if I ever run into Little Crow. :dcool:
Again, this was just my odd sense of curiosity rearing it's ugly head. If I'm curious about something, I ask questions. Lots and lots of questions.

Odd, to me ... Drakkar Noir smells like soap. Scandanavian Soap. It blends HORRIBLY with my body chemistry.
I have two scents which have always done wonders for me.
1.) A custom blend that an ex had made for me which had a triple base of cinnamon, cherry and musk. I wish to the high heavens that I still had a sample. I'd PAY for a company to make a reproduction.
2.) The base oil for one of WAXMAN CANDLES products. Again, slightly musky and cherrylike ... but no cinnamon. ... again, given to me by an ex ( who happens to be an extraordinary corsetmaker. )

Speaking of 18 ... and scents and soap ... there's a fellow I know from discussing what a total *&&&&* Bush is who makes scented soaps, and he can be emailed at wagesofzin@bellsouth.net

Hey Jak, If you have the candle still. There are a couple of esential OIL booths at the big Mi Renfest.... er your still in MI right????
They're pretty good at matching scents and custom mixing the oils.
Unfortunately this years run ended this past sunday.

In lines with what Sehson mentioned, if you still have the candle you may want to check out Kamala Perfumes (http://www.kamala.com). She's a wiz at matching and making scents and may be able to help you recreate one or both scents. I've gotten stuff from her before that rocked (Rogue oil and Satyr soap).

DUDE!!! Kamala is where she had the scent made! ( the first example ) I might actually be able to get it again. It's very close to satyr, but no patchoulli.
The second scent I still have three quarters of a bottle of. It's undiluted. To use it as a scent, I only need a q-tip's worth and it lasts all night.

That's the good stuff.
Anna Riva Dragon's Blood oil is one of my favorites...though the only time it's *ahem* led to anything was on my ex, whose body chemistry worked with it a little too well. I enjoy wearing the scent, too, from time to time(doesn't smell anywhere near the same on me), and used to get "you smell good" comments frequently when I wore it on a daily basis. I actually also like spicy smells, as they tend to make me feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed(which leads to snuggles).
Jasmine is apparently redneck aphrodisiac. Friend of mine went to a bar(she'd been to the same bar the week before in a dress and makeup and was accused of being a drag queen) in jeans, old boots, and a flannel shirt, and about half a bottle of jasmine oil that a friend had knocked over onto her. Shortly after arrival: "Yew smell purdy...y'wanna make some babies?" Jasmine in normal doses so it's kept faint doesn't seem to get the same reaction...which is just as well, 'cause the bottle I've got is another of my favorite ones to wear.
The majority of my oils came from Sirius (http://siriusmindbody.com), up near Charlotte.

One of my on-line friends mentioned that I should try Paco Rabbane's Black XS. According to her,
"It makes me want to commit acts of sexual deviance upon men who wear it. It is *delicious* smelling."

I'm a weird guy with great sense of smell. Demeter makes some very funky fragrances like Dirt, Grass, Pumpkin Pie, etc., etc.
Megs, if you're having a hard time finding Laundromat, I have a link to a vendor that sells lots of Demeter fragrances. Just PM me and I'll forward it to you.
I've not really gotten into BPAL... yet. Got a couple of lady friends who love them - they say its almost a fandom unto itself. I really should go to a "Meet & Sniff" one of these days. (yeah, I'm imagining dogs sniffing each others' butts, too) ;)
