Spawn, Jennie, Spawn!
I know I get in trouble for saying it . but I can't help it.

How do Jennie's three consciences map to the three magical girls of anime?
Here's my stab at it:
Using Magic Knight Rayearth for the genericness, we have:
Pink == Hikaru
Black == Umi
White == Fuu

that would work with ranma aswell. though I like the margret cho bit that says that whenever you see three women friends they are just like charlies angels, there is the smart one, the pretty one, and the slut. now That dosen't hold too true in real life, but in fiction it seems to. angel, princess, and the devil girl.

Devil girl is smart and pretty.
Panel 3 might be a good t-shirt, minus the speech bubble.

....Maid, Mother, and Crone? That's the female trinity that springs to my mind...

And be careful who you say "mother" and/or "crone" to. It could get you into trouble.
I'm all for seeing more of the devil girls come out in the women I know. They're alot more fun to play with. The angel girls play "hard to get" too much and the pretty princesses are just too high-maintenance.
But that's just my opinion, feel free to disagree or converse about.

....Maid, Mother, and Crone? That's the female trinity that springs to my mind...Spinner, weaver and shredder.
There's never been an explanation of the wholebusiness with clothes moths eating the shredded fibres and *****ing them out as fertiliser, plants growing on that and sheep eating those plants and growing wool for the spinner, but the three goddesses are pretty popular.
I guess they're cuter than the sheep and moths.
Even in New Zealand, they're considered cuter than the moths.

Cue guest art of Jennie doing the "I woke up. I shot the clock." thing from Strangers in Paradise.

My quick reference has always been: Body, Mind and Soul.
Naturally anybody who was missing one of those three would hardly count as human or alive, but each of the three is an avatar for one of those concepts.
Through there seems to be an unlimited number of ways to find them. Such as white thinks of doing well for others, black seeks to influence others to her own advantage and pink lives for the moment without considering how others might react or benefit from her actions.
Id/Ego/Superego anyone?

Jennie with kids would be awesome, if for no other reason than to see them all trick or treating with her in their flying monkey costumes :dgrin:

Truthfully, I think she could easily do it. SHE doesn't think so, but it all depends on if she got the boytoy SNIPPED. Then again.. that might be why she doesn't complain about Will being near a computer monitor for 17 hours a day.. :lol:

Anyone seen that picture of a car with three inflated plastic "guided missiles" tethered to it so they seem to be chasing it down the road?
Anyone seen those people dangling from paragliders being towed along by boats?
Anyone think three kids with paragliders in series towed behind a car is a really amusing image that I probably shouldn't have ever had in my mind?

haven't seen the guided missile thing but the parasailing behind a car sounds awesome!
When we were little we used to ride on the hood of the car (only when we were driving down the driveway...that was a half mile long)

The "guided missiles" were actually for sale at one point. Novelty balloons, I think.
