Silly thing: The most popular "booze" at the in-game bar at the LARP I play in is Mountain Dew.

But then, we all know the dangers of too much sugar and an active imagination...you all did remember to hide the foot-long pixie sticks, right? :)

Litre of Mountain Dew?? :confused::confused:

Since when to Americans drink a litre of anything??? Isn't it gallons or quarts or something??

We do indeed have 1 and 2 liter bottles of stuff in the USA, we're not completely metric-intolerant.

If you hide them, then they track by the smell. It's much more fun and then the pixie-stick-hunter remains still long enough to pounce/ambush/glomp as desired or required. :)

Bottled soft drinks are sold in liter measurements (1/2, 1, 2, and 3 liter bottles). Gallons and quarts are used by the various producers of milk and juice, but even they have metric measurements on the packaging. In fact, the vast majority of food and non-food products sold in the US have metric measurements on them.
