I've been doing short comics for about a year and posting them on my short-comics-blog. I really don't know how to describe them, other than they're sometimes funny and sometimes not. But they're all inspired by people I know. I give them the originals.

Anyhow, have a look, if you like:

Thanks, Jimbo! I'm working my way through the archives of your webcomic and really enjoying myself. (I'm not a 3D artist, but I'm definitely getting a flavor for what it's like. A really fun read!)

Thanks, Jeremy. We geeks try to live a normal life, but...
So, I'm curious after seeing your comics. What is your background in art? Do you do any kind of drawing for a living, or...?

PS - by the way "The Best Present She Ever Gave Me" had me laughing out loud. That's classic!

Thanks a lot! Makes all those hours of drawing worth it if I can put a smile on someone's face (or puzzle them).

Well, since you asked, I'm a freelance illustrator who's done everything from children's books to PS2 game covers to concept art for Dreamworks Animation.

I'm also an art director at an Orange County advertising agency where I do a lot of multimedia work and bossing around other artists.

My first love is comics, though, and I've only recently started taking my comics output seriously. I do the Obnoxious Boners (http://www.obnoxiousboners.com) short comics for fun and, while they're done quickly in my dwindling spare time, they're my babies and a real representation of my humor, obsessions and personality (if I could somehow figure out a way to do them for a living, I'd be beyond ecstatic). I've had a few bits and bobs of comics material published (the most recent being a story in the latest 24 Hour Comics Highlights anthology (http://www.amazon.com/dp/0979075009/).

Hope all that didn't bore you, but thanks for asking!

What about you?
