Darn you, Jennie! Darn you to heck!!

...I had almost, *ALMOST* managed to forget how much fun I used to have at LARP events. Sadly, I recently found your comic. Now I can't forget. Every joke, every joy, every wonder.

Drums echoing from the forest as the trolls prepare to attack. Zombies shambling from the fog. The exhilaration from surviving a battle that had seemed hopeless. Sleep deprivation and adrenaline mixing to make every fantastical element feel more real, more...magical.

How am I supposed to go back to boring monotony now?!?

*sigh*

Oh, well. I guess that I'm just going to have to re-join NERO. Oooh, NERO West (http://nerowest.com) is holding a weekend event November 2-4th! *runs around like mad re-building costumes, props and LARP weapons*

:)

(P.S. Thank you!)

They don't bite unless provoked, or they think you like it.

Much. At least in this forum, wearing chainmail is considered stylish. :P

Wearing it on the rest of the board is a protective measure. :D

Not quite... We bite if provoked or asked nicely.... and then we reserve the right to refuse

How to know that you're re-infected with the LARP bug:

There is a Richter 5.6 earthquake epicentered less than 5 miles from your house...And as the world starts to shake, your first action is to grab your new costume and throw it under a table to make sure that it won't be damaged by falling bookcases...

...And your first thought is, "...Man, it'd be cool if we could schedule one of these right before the Saturday night undead attack!"

"Earthquake?"

"Worse, someone just reanimated the entire graveyard. That was two thousand corpses breaking out of the earth at once."

You may have reality issues if you automatically assume the zombie option
