Being able to just smush things is a relaxing alternative to memorized spell verbals. :dcool:

(I played a SOLAR-style mage for 8+ years. Just being able to "Slay!" instead is liberating.)

could be worse...sounds like those're celestial spell-verbals she's trying to remember. Earth-spell verbals are MUCH worse...unless you're casting various forms of cause, then it's just "I call upon Chaos to (name of spell here)!"
