We've already got this thread in the off topic section, which has unfortunately gone off topic.

Also, I agree, GREAT book

I keep being delayed from doing some serious reading and even though I went to a midnight opening I'm only at chapter 8. Fiddlesticks!

I've caught up on some reading lately. Read a new Bourne book (Sucked. Ludlum was rolling over in his grave when they published it) Read the Star Wars book, Sacrifice. It was ok, the author's other star wars books are better (Republic Commando). Star Wars, The rise of Darth Vader - Waste of time. And Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Very Good. I haven't read a book that out smarted me in years. And this one didn't but it certainly matched wits. Which is to say there were several times when I thought, "Oh she should do it this way in the book, but because it makes sense to me she won't" but she did! Well done Mrs Rowling. I fear for the film adaptation though. They aren't giving the films enough time to get everything in.

JK Rowling just spilled the beans about how it turns out, though the news article contains a big spoiler alert warning.

What? Good grief, why on earth would she do that? Ok, now I have to avoid all media for the next few days. *grumbles*

My guess is that she did it so that the press would leave her alone. However, she did not divulge the whys and wherefores, only that it ended a particular way. Since I have no interest in the books one way or the other, I went ahead and read past the spoiler.

According to radio this morning, in latest interview she has said about how she has started writing another book, but not a HP one.

Wasnt that book about a spy kid, similar to the Alex Rider series? Or am I creating memories again?

Making up memories again I guess, I hate it when I do that. Never trust what you think, notice or are told.

Anyway I wonder what her next books are going to be about, I doubt it will be about magic

YOU CREATE MEMORIES TOO!?

It's like we're the same person, but with different second chromosomes, and genetic makeup
