I don't know how big this con is outside of San Antonio, I have never seen Jennie or any of the other artists who put out comics that i read mention it, but for those of you in Texas and up for a drive here it is. I will be there as well not as an attendee but closer to a guest. My local chapter of the SCA (http://www.baronyofbjornsborg.org) will be putting on a fighting demo, and possibly lots of other cool stuff as well. As a disclaimer to those who have a preference, we are historically based as opposed to fantasy.

Come and see this goofy fellow try to entertain y'all by being beat with a baseball bat

Hey, good stuff! I take it you put on a closed helmet before the baseball bat arrives :D Looks like you rely on boiled leather armor?

Closed helmet yes, Boiled leather, no. That is steel covered in leather. If anyone wants a picture of the helm, just let me know.

I was curious about the vertical midline; leather covering makes more sense.

This is the best one I could find. In my defense I was passed out at the time it was taken, the flip flops are not mine.

I will let Ashley know, I don't know how effective that will be seeing as she is in Kansas, somewhere outside Wichita.

As for tribute, the only person who has successfully gotten any from me is a 300 lb blacksmith who can put me through a wall without a second thought. :p
