What I want to know is, are the PATIENTS aware of what it means when this cat gets all snuggly and friendly with one of them?

Well, it's an old folks home, and I'm assuming that most of the people there are just so old that if they do know, hopefully they're content enough in their lives to just smile, pet the kitty and wait the 4 hours until they kick the bucket.

OR they're just so senile that they wouldn't understand. Lord knows.
