In 2004 I started drawing a comic called "Tank'd". It started as something to do while I was supposed to be paying attention in class but slowly (As more people started constantly looking over my shoulder) evolved into a web comic. After 28 pages the comic died out in 2005 then revived for a few pages in 2006 then finally keeled over after being beaten to death with the shovel of writer's block.

I'm trying to start up a comic again, but I'm having trouble actually getting something going. When I was originally drawing "Tank'd" I had trouble keeping the plot going in the right direction. I came up with a bunch of character concepts (If not rather creepy character concepts...). Really, I'm trying to decide if I should start up a new comic or restart my old one...
I'm stuck in this rut where I can come up with some really cool (or just demented) character ideas but no plot devices come to mind.
EDIT:
I didn't really ask a question did I? Really, I'm just fishing for ideas I suppose. What do you artists normally do if you're stuck in a rut...for two years?
EDIT2: Maybe this should be moved to a different section, I think I may have posted it in the wrong place...or I'm just asking questions people can't really answer...well whatever, I love honesty.
