Larp questions

Ok. So, first of, im a super long time player of dnd (meaning i actualy know what THACO is and how to use it). And ive always admired larpers, and wanted to do it myself.

My problem, is that i live in nebraska the black hole of the US. Would any of you guys know of an orginization within nebraska that does larp on a regular basis? Another question. If no one knows the above, any recomendations on the creation and recruitment to get one up and going?

Ive spent a good deal of time on the internet looking up the awnsers to both questions, and in all honesty, there are no real complete lists/websites for larp orginizations. Considering this

One of the best places to get info is a gaming con. That, or try a boffer LARP. There is usally people who attend multiple venues and have (many) opinions about them.
