D*C 2012 donation thread!

I'll toss my hat into the ring for anyone who needs a ride from buffalo. I may be renting a van to make the run from Cleveland to Atlanta, with a possible pit stop to pick up another con goer in Virginia. Only kink is that someone would need to get them to Cleveland before 2pm on August 29th. Gas cash appreciated, but negotiable if it'll offset the cost of getting to Cleveland.

I have my badge, I' just need a hotel room and monies for said hotel room, transport to atlanta(It's more expensive, but I prefer to fly as it's quick and less stressful than packing me into a car with a bunch of people)

Southwest flights seem to be pretty reasonable for that time period.

Also, I remember reading that delta is doing a discount on flights for the convention. There's a code you can find on the con's website.

Okay, I'm going to throw this out there.
I've got way too much on my plate right now, and can't give the proper attention to the cause.
So I'm going to send the money back that's been given to me and let someone else toss their hat in the ring to facilitate this most worthy of causes.

Felt I owed an explanation of why I'm not able to coordinate this now.
Little sis has asked that I help to raise money to get my niece to the Miss America camp, and since that would be going through my paypal as well, I felt that it would be best to concentrate my efforts on one front.
I'll still make sure this thread gets bumped and to ensure coordination of travel plans and all, but someone else is going to have to spearhead things here to make sure that the annual DP family reuinion goes off as well as posible

I've got a badge already, and technically a room. (AM, did you and my buddy Dan work things out?) I just need to come up with the money to pay for my half of the room, and then Chief had mentioned if I get a bus ticket out to Cleveland, I can get a ride down to con and back, and then a bus ticket home.

Once Easter is done, as I'm currently the Easter Bunny *headdesk* I will be applying for a more respectable jorb, such as BoA loan stuffs and the like, and I *might* be able to help out more with my fund and help others out as well with stuffs.
